I often am called on to do several other services that stretch beyond traditional music services. Please note: Due to scheduling difficulties, I generally provide these services for existing clients only.

Website Design & Development

I have 13 years' experience building static and dynamic websites. I practice pragmatically semantic HTML/CSS. I don't do anything special for SEO ("search engine optimization"), because if you write good copy and lay out your site's markup properly, your content will organically end up in the top 10 (both samples are #2 as of this writing, and both sites are updated rarely!)

I'll work with you to define what goals you have from your internet presence, create wireframes & site flows, iterate designs or refer you to talented designers with whom I've worked in the past, and then develop the front-end of your site. If you need dynamic or data-driven sites, we'll evaluate the use of a service such as Wordpress or Posterous, or I can roll some code in ASP.NET/C# if need be. I don't really do PHP, Java, RoR, or other platforms these days merely because my schedule is tight.

Budget Headshots

Look, headshots in NYC are pricey, and every amateur photographer with a DSLR and a 50mm prime lens thinks they can shoot them for you. The difference between those people and me is that I don't charge exhorbitant professional-level prices for what I shoot! I set up in a sun-dappled yet slightly shielded alley near the Ditmars area of Astoria that provides great bokeh and interesting background texture, shoot with a basic reflector and a shallow depth of field to give the background a nice dreamy blur, touch the pictures up slightly to make your eyes, mouth and hair really pop, and you end up with budget-priced headshots that have been good enough for several actors to book paid work. Great for actors just starting out in NYC!

Due to my extensive experience and daily contact with the tech, social media, and music industries, I'm available for consult for a nominal fee on a variety of subjects, as well as offering training and engagement for speaking. Please note: due to potential conflicts of interest, I limit these types of appearances and engagements to smaller businesses. If you're interested in booking me for a larger event or training, please get in touch with me and I will refer you to the appropriate party to handle my booking.
