At odds at times I speak your mind.
About Luquado
Luquado is my stage name for all personal musical releases I've had since 1996. In the nearly decade and a half since I started releasing music under that name, I've released numerous songs in a variety of styles, including two full-length electronic/dance albums and two holiday albums.
On the existing Luquado site, you will find several free downloads as well as a discography of currently-available albums. On my Bandcamp site you can also grab additional newer free downloads!
What Do I Do?
Everything. This is a one-man operation, so I handle all design, production, composition... the works, as well as playing all of the instruments.
Samples
I've included selections from various albums below as well as single releases. Click a title to hear a preview of that song. For albums that are available for purchase on iTunes, I've included links.
Singles & Other Releases
Besides album releases, I write a ton of music. Occasionally I make songs available for free download or purchase.
My piano-rock song dedicated to the Facebook experience. All performances by yours truly.
The Most Wonderful Time (2008)
I wasn't (and still am not) done releasing holiday songs, and 2008's The Most Wonderful Time expanded on the styles and arrangements of Winter Wonderland, but with a little more energy and instrumentation throughout. This album remains my best-selling album to date.
At Odds At Times (2004)
At Odds At Times was my homage to trance & dance music, with more thoughtful lyrics and more intricate production than what was common at the time—a sort of "EDM/trance hybrid" in a way. It also marked the first time I sang on a majority of songs on an album of mine. I won several online awards for this album or for songs from it.
Winter Wonderland (2004)
I've always adored the holiday season, and in 2004 I finally compiled my first batch of calm, mostly-piano-driven holiday arrangements into an album.
Studies in Electronica (1998)
My first foray into electronic music was 1998's Studies In Electronica. I'd previously worked with MIDI and electronic instrumentation, but never in an actual "electronic style." It was released in extremely limited quantities; I'd love to revisit this album someday.
